MY INTRODUCTION POST TO BLURT AM GLAD TO BE HERE

Good day friends I am Mercy Joe by name, from IMO State, based in Rivers State and school in Calabar, Nigeria. I am fair skinned in complexion, my hair color is black, my eye color is white, i am 5ft3 tall.

Family background My parents gave birth to 7 girls and 2 boys of which i am the 4th child. My Dad is a businessman while my late my was a chef.
Educational background

I started schooling at the age of 3 and at 17 i finished my secondary school. My hobbies are singing, dancing, writing and reading novels, and i also love music and watching movies especially Korea movies. My mum is my role model because she taught me how to live a life of truth and honesty and also how to face challenges in life instead of running away from them. I have always aspired to become a journalist and chef just like my mum. I like making new friends, i dislike liars, back stabbers and rumormongers. I am a food lover, my family called call me foodie. My favorite color is pink, white and sky blue, my favorite quote is dreams are like seeds planted in your heart to be fulfill. I can joke with anything in this world but not with things of God, because i was brought up in a Christian home.

Challenges that made me who i am today It started in secondary school, when i entered into senior class, i became less serious with my studies that my financial accounting teacher started complaining and comparing my friends and I, he always makes this statement; how many head does my friends have that i can't beat them in class, because of that i have to change myself and started studying hard and pass them in class, i started believing that is not all about been a senior in school but what u have to show for it, like my teacher always says that the hight of a man is not measure from head to toe but from head to neck because what makes a man is the brain. if not for my teacher, i will not be thinking of furthering my educations which I'm doing today .
A time i failed and how it affected me It was when i was in primary school, my class was like a war zone, it was full of challenges that you have to study hard if not someone else will take your position from you. I have always maintained second position in class, that i became a bagger until when i have exams which i did not study seriously for it, but to me i wrote very well in the exam, that when someone asked me how the exam, i will say it was very simple like a ABCD, till i saw my report card which Said that i took 4th position in class, i did not believe it, it was like a dream and film to me, i was shock, frustrated and it was like they poured me a bucket of Cold water, i was not able to show or tell people my position like i have always been doing. When i got i was not able to eat or talk to people that fell sick. From then i believe on the quote that says pride comes before down fall.
