My name is elianaa, I was born in 1994 in (Venezuela). When I was little, my mother used to tell me that she had not been a planned baby unlike my brothers, which made me not know exactly how long I was pregnant at the time of my birth, but she always insisted that she was convinced that it had been, done a few minutes after being born they had to take me to an incubator because I started to turn purple from having difficulty breathing, but after a few days I was able to go home to La Victoria, Aragua state, where I grew up with my brothers and my parents.
As a child, despite being the only female granddaughter in my father's family, I never considered myself or was raised as a spoiled girl who got everything she wanted once she asked for it, in fact, in my house there was never any preferential treatment or differences in the way my parents treated my siblings or me, a situation that allowed me to grow, as we say in Venezuela, with my feet on the ground and with values oriented towards justice and equality.
From a very young age I was very independent, studious and why deny it? A bit
bossy hahaha but I have always considered myself a determined person in terms of what I wanted for my life, although sometimes I lack a bit of discipline to achieve my goals
objectives.
At the age of 17 I began studying law at a prestigious university in my country located in Caracas, for which I had to move to my paternal grandfather's house in Los Teques because the journey from his house to the university was quite short by subway. This change in my life was a great challenge for me, I went from living in a small town and always being with my mom who looked for me and took me everywhere, to living practically alone and assuming the responsibility of doing my things by myself. The first year of my degree, it was difficult for me to adapt to all the changes that occurred in my life, including being separated from my mother was very difficult for me, however, we always looked for a way to see each other on weekdays. Despite this, I feel like my college career was over in the blink of an eye, and exactly 5 years later I was getting my law degree.
After spending many years traveling from one city to another for studies and work, finally in 2017 I decided to move to Caracas, where I pursue my career and where I have greater opportunities for professional development. After 12 years walking on Caracas soil, I can say that I have adopted this city as mine, a city that allows me to appreciate it despite its constant chaos that, like every capital city, it has.
Although I am a lawyer and practice my profession, I have always liked
crafts, cooking, and recently I added sewing and knitting to my list of hobbies, activities that have been quite therapeutic and relaxing, especially in these times of pandemic and that I enjoy enormously.
