July Veggie Garden, first Blurt post

in introduceyourself •  4 years ago

Hi all

i am Atma

I live in Bulgaria and my veggie garden is currently blooming nicely. Here is my Celtuce plant (it's a cross between celery and lettuce).

Freedom Cells attract highly diverse people. Here's a rough classification:

(1) ancaps
(2) left anarchists
(3) MAGAs who think that conservatism is freedom
(4) village living fans who think that not being connected to electric grid is freedom
(5) people whose only problem with the government is masks and lockdowns, they're a-OK with everything else; they consider moving to Zanzibar
(6) Harry Potters who plan to battle Klaus Schwab with things like waves, energy, vibrations and expelliarmus

It is by now abundantly clear that not everybody is going to be cooperating with everybody, and the picture is quite complicated. I'm (1) and I will collaborate with (4) as long as they don't solicit donations from the government, and I will help (3) and (5) but try to nudge them towards converting to (1), and I will occasionally indulge (2) as long as they are not into things that I consider too crazy (such as ecofeminism), and I will only tolerate (6) as long as they have something other than woo-woo to offer.

I think Matrix-8 is a hopelessly crude tool to reflect the fine structure emerging here. We're building a ryzome, and neither Matrix-8's army-like hierarchy nor Representative Democracy would make much sense in this case.

So to answer your question, "what?", currently we're following the Freedom Cells plan, which proposes to group people into "cells" of 6-10 people, but one person can and should belong to several cells. This is what builds the "ryzome" structure without cramming people into crystalline grid like you want to. I hope you're not too surprised that you've come to the Freedom Cells people and their answer of how to organize is Freedom Cells.

It is quite possible that knots would appear in the ryzome that will require democratic governance. In this case Liquid Democracy and/or Quadratic Voting seem to be the best solutions so far. These days you can make a decentralized autonomous organization on Ethereum using something like Aragon, issue shares to participants, vote on the blockchain and solve disputes with Kleros (or whatever Aragon's copy is called). The gas fees need to be solved though. Also MolochDAO works in the same direction although I don't understand what it does.

What happens next with the ryzome? Well, the only true answer is "what people want", but here's a sample of what could be done:

a friend-to-friend network to further decentralize communication: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friend-to-friend
(that's obviously normally done over the Internet but some people are already trying to build a parallel network just in case)
movable meeting spots in shipping containers. Those are very difficult to track. This technique is currently employed by Parallel Polis.
a working prediction market. It is essential because instead of arguing over the probability of some future event it's much better to let people bet on it (also see "futarchy"). Unfortunately, current solutions don't quite cut it.

I would join one. But I doubt They would want an old disabled lady with bone spurs in the thumbs... Haha!

you'll fit right in

Where? LOL! Who wants an old lady that can't do much at all? Who can't dig the soil, till it, do laundry by hand, etc? Who can only type painfully? Point Me in that direction and I'm going!

That's all well and good, but... That is not a group that will take Me in and give Me a home, and My old computer cannot run those "meeting places" like zoom and all.

What I need is a place to live. I'm tired of spending all My time locked in a studio apartment with 4 sq ft of space on the floor. Tired of living with One who worries about benign molecules everywhere (He is a chemophobe). Tired of getting no sun.

When a group that will take Me in pops up, let Me know.

@atma.love is actively working to form this type of group

and you don't need zoom or anything, they're just using element, which you're already on

i'm trying to get them off of hive and over here on blurt - - or at least to start cross-posting

you have over 1000 subscribers on youtube, AND TONS OF HIGH QUALITY CONTENT

so you should probably start randomly picking one of your videos to RE-upload once a week, and maybe consider doing a livestream once a week or so, that will really boost your view-time

there shouldn't be any reason you can't earn at least a few hundred dollars a month off of this thing

We have other issues... Like the IRS. I don't use the TRUST (ALL CAP name which is all They have in the system) for My work. I use the name chosen by a friend decades ago, and do not want to mix the two up.

And for a couple hundred a month... It's just not worth the effort.

And I hate live streams, and only did CONHWC (Conspiracy or Not, Here We Come) because I did not have to monkey with the setups. I just joined and talked. Same with My stuff with Alethia 333 channel, and Aquarian Anarchy interviews. Few other want to interview Me... LOL!

Anyway... Naw. I want nothing to do with YouToilet! Unless I was guaranteed $50,000 a month. Then I might ponder it.

We shall see... Thanks!
