Dinu Pilz wurde 1950 in Bukarest als Sohn einer rumänischen Musikerfamilie geboren. Performing sehr talentierte Kompositionen, Klavier und Orchester, darunter Paris. Seit 1987 ist er Professor für Klavier am Genfer Konservatorium.
