What I like about science fiction are the extraordinary situations it takes up in an exemplary way and the reactions of the protagonists. SF fires the imagination, it also contains ordinary soap opera elements that unfold within the framework of a fictional technology. The ‘what if’ scenarios are a nice mental exercise for real experiences in everyday life.
