The pillars of Shahid Minar are the symbol of motherland and mother tongue and mother and her martyred child. The tallest pillar in the middle symbolizes the mother. The small four pillars around are the symbols of the children, who have shed their blood to establish the right of Bengali language. Shahid Minar has a deep connection with everything beautiful, everything auspicious in our life. It is not just a minaret, it is a symbol of our motivation.
