The period of his life from the time we observed him until he was no longer seen on the ground was only 4 days. The first day we found the young and short with a round hood and still perfectly brown. Day 2 the mushrooms started to bloom with a broken brown color mixed with white. The 3rd and 4th day of blooming with the dominant color of the white hood. The next day we did not have a chance to pay attention. Day 6 the mushrooms were no longer there, We assume his life span is only about 4 days. We didn't get to see the process of it rotting back into the ground, because it seemed like it happened when it was raining so hard that we didn't go out of the house at that time.

whoa! how many hours did you wait for them to bloom fully? I have never seen some of the mushrooms in a bud state in my place. I'm not an early riser
