Good evening all Blurt friends, meet me again @hidayat96 and tonight I want to share one of the mushrooms with all of you, namely Ear Mushrooms that grew on one of the old tree trunks when I was walking while looking for photos behind my nephew's house.

Of course, all of my friends are familiar with this mushroom, right? This mushroom has the scientific name "Auricularia auricular". This mushroom is known as ear mushroom because the shape of its fruiting body is wide like the auricle of a human ear. The unique characteristic of this mushroom is that it has a rubbery fruiting body when fresh. However, when it is dry, the fruit body will become hard like bone.

The body of this fungus is short-stemmed and grows attached to the substrate by making holes on its surface. The upper surface of the fruit body is like velvet with a shiny smooth bottom. His skin is slimy during the rainy season and looks wrinkled in the dry season. In Indonesia, this ear-like mushroom is often cooked as a mixture of Tekwan, Capcay, or soup because it has a very delicious taste.

For friends who are trying to lose weight, this mushroom can be the right choice because it has a low calorie content but natural protein and high fiber. This mushroom is also efficacious for the treatment of minor ailments such as reducing internal heat and reducing pain due to burns. In addition to containing many benefits, it turns out that Ear Mushrooms also contain toxins if processed in an inappropriate way.

Ear Mushrooms are poisonous if eaten raw. This is because the substance "hydrasin" which can cause poisoning if it is not processed first by cooking it like boiled. So, this mushroom will be very dangerous if consumed before cooking.

Okay Blurt friends, maybe on this occasion that's all I can share with all of you. Hopefully useful and see you again in my next post. Thank you...
