Just looked through Your list and saw this. I love guacamole! My question is, since lately the avocados have been bad (solid around the seed and at the top, mushy at the surface and bottom), what do You mean by "well reaped avocados?"
I miss the days when avocados were soft yet firm all the way through!
There are many different kind of avocados :)
The huge ones are the best ones ....but mostly find in tropical weather
the little ones must be very dark green and put under the sun until good to eat.
But i hear you and it is also very expensive ...really depends where you live.
I grew up in California and was used to awesome avocados. Now I'm out on Long Island, and the avocados are hit and miss. [sigh] Thanks for the response!
