Should We All Just Stop Voting?

A friend of mine has missed some votings now. He says it is for them (politicians) to know his disagreement. Voting is like confirming their power, their legitimacy for what they are doing right know.

Well I'm not with him, I don't see the point. I think you have the blank and nule voting right so at least it counts, it shows in the figures although here in my country those votes go to those having most votes.

Our democracy it's not the perfect system, it has a lot to improve. Something I would put over the table is: the voting right should be free or should we gain it by studying some politics, social behaviour and more during our education period till we get the age to vote?

I don't know the exact percentage but I'm sure most of the voters have no idea about what they are doing but just choose like they choose the best beer to buy on the market, it just depends on publicity, mainly... sad!

I vote for people to be educated before having the right to vote who is leading our lives.

Cheers

But isn’t not voting just accepting it too ?

Yes, sry maybe I didn't make it clear in my comment. I mostly agree with your point of view, with an extra ingredient, this is: educating people before they have the right to vote.
