#WednesdayWalk by @tattoodjay.
Today I walked mostly along the Szécsenyi parkerdő in Szolnok, Hungary. This includes a Natura 2000 area (of course from the pathway only) too.
Parkerdő is literally parkforest in English.
A few buildings near the train tracks.
The entrance gate to the parkerdő.
The welcome sign from the left side of photo above. The rough English translation of the sign: "We welcome our dear visitors on the area of the Szécsenyi parkerdő (literally parkforest) and the ecotourism center, operated by the NEFAG Zrt". The "Zrt" is close to "co. ltd." or "cPlc" in English. I am not really sure about this. The company structures are probably very different, so it is very hard to translate this.
The goodbye sign on the opppsite side. Something like "We expect you back in our parkforest. See you again".
A closer look at the gate.
The sign says "Szécsényi parkerdő. Szolnok. Created by the Szolnok's forestry of Nefag Rt in 2004". Looks like previously it was Rt. Rt is close to "Co" or "LLC" in English.
A pattern on the gate.
A few parking lots nearby.
The entrance to the Bagolyvár vadaspark. Vadaspark is a wildlife park in English. Bagolyvár is close to "Owlcastle" in English.
The forest.
Natura 2000 Area. Keep the path!
A little walk, and we see the field.
The Zagyva river.
Another Nature 2000 Area sign, and a bridge with a train track on it. And a moving train. Train Hungary.
A tower in the distance. Probably a water tower or a communications tower. Or both.
Electricity (230V) controller box.
The bridge again from another view.
An electricity tower.
A flower graffiti on it.
Szeretem az Albánt. I like the Albanian (something or someone).
Another electricity tower.
The tower's shadow.
A bunch of bird feathers in one place. Probably a predatory bird catched a pigeon (or something like that), and ate it.
The "fingerprints" of the human civilization. Even in a place like this. I do not know what to say. Really.
Fortunately/luckily it is mostly clean.
There are broken trees. But this is (probably) made by nature, not by humans.
Not every tree is straight.
The trees from the distance.
The bridge in the distance.
And I am again in the city.
Plot twist: My actual walk was reversed, so this is the starting point of my walk, but I thought that it would be better to show this from the entrance of the parkerdő (parkforest).
The day and my walk was pleasant. The temperature was 1 °C in the morning, and the maximum temperature was 21 °C in the afternoon.
I took these photos today afternoon with my smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A12). I have not edited these photos.
Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.
