Lulu and enjoyed a nice day down on the wash in Copper Basin today as a winter storm was making its way east to bring us snow (???) tonight. Not a ton of strps but it was fun to be out in the quiet solitude of the scrub for several hours.
A bit chilly for our .Ile and a half trek down the sandy Wash but I was lugging 40 pounds of equipment on my back pack and Lulu was running around so we were both getting in dome good cardio.
A lot of digging and hauling dirt for a bit of gold but I love being out in the peaceful and quiet lands and getting to enjoy the natural beauty for a while - especially since it wasn't hot 🔥 like during the summer.
Another couple of mules hiking back ro my car and it was time to call it a day and head home. Maybe my knees will be better this next week and I can try to run a bit again - just looking forward to better health and fitness in the upcoming year.
