Doing a report for my yesterday's activities.
It's been a long time since I got over 6,000 steps. I feel like I've done a lot more steps than my phone has recorded.
I did have a very busy day yesterday with all of my movements at work. I have to go up and down the stairs a lot and I'm pretty sure it gives me a great workout.
I finally got back to going to the gym on a more regular basis. It seems impossible to get started after you miss a week. It's amazing how fast your muscles contract when you don't work out regularly.
I think I was working out too much and with too much weight. I was always hurting myself and needed a lot more time to recover. I have found that at my age it works better to use light weights and more reps.
Then I did some bicycle riding also, I've been riding the bicycle to the gym to help with my warm up. On the ride home I really give it a good push to get my cardio in.
I would have got a lot more steps if I would have remembered to bring my phone when I went for a walk with the dog, but that's okay I had enough to make a post.
