We've had a few beautiful Spring days in England, warm enough, after the equinox, to go out for a late afternoon walk without a coat.
I heard last week that funding for The Idea had reached the tipping point, so the printing of this new book about Anarchist organising and resistance can go ahead. I'm looking forward to getting a copy.
I received a surprise parcel this week with my copy of Until the Sun Comes Up and various goodies including story boards from the film, my rewards from the fundraiser. I'm planning a film night!
The plans for the house are coming along: we have a scheme for the ground floor and last weekend I met with a kitchen planner. I'm planning a modest kitchen, mainly ranged along one wall, with a kitchen/dining table in the middle.
Next on the list is selecting sliding and French doors for the back of the house and between the kitchen and living room, and then power points, lighting and radiators.
Staying in budget is a challenge, but I'm sure we'll get there.
