Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my report 😊. As always I am grateful for this day, trust me, there are many who wanted to see it but couldn't so we are blessed to be here💯. Sunday is that day of gratitude and reflection. So thank you for stopping by and please keep reading 👓 as I let you in on how my day has been including some of the trending stories I came across. Let's get cracking 💨.
So as usual, I began the day with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲, enjoying the cool morning breeze 🍃. Then I was back indoors for some resting and then later my usual daily chores. I had a big pile of laundry to get through. Then I also kept abreast with the trending news and emails. Later in the afternoon I had a little bit of walking going to the mall for some groceries and window shopping. I was back indoors for the usual refreshing nap. The evening came fast and I woke up to cooking, watching a bit of youtube. Then I was out as the sun was setting to enjoy the slow paced evening walk that winds down my day. It was wonderful 🥰.
Finally let's quickly look at what was trending in the media.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going as politicians attended church service at the state house. Then celebrations as king of marathons Eliud Kipchoge took over Berlin, winning the city marathon, breaking his 2018 record👋💯.
Globally, Ukraine trending as Russia is about to annex another chunk 🙀. Today was the third day of voting in the 4 regions, Putin is ready to announce these regions as part of Russia next week if things go his way 👹.
Meanwhile, Italians were at the polls too. Speculation high that the far right is about to come to power for the first time since WW2🙀. And with the first female prime minister.
Let's wait for the results.
Finally, let's end with some crazy weather. Typhoon Noru made landfall in Luzon, Philippines with powerful winds and torrential rain. Elsewhere, a new tropical storm named Ian is brewing in the Caribbean 🙀, expected to make landfall as a hurricane.
