Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Tuesday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another 24 hours to be grateful for and as the day draws to a close am raring to go with my stepping activities and also some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's get right into it 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off early with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. I did enjoy the fresh morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors, where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Campaigning still in high gear as we head towards the general elections.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, Ukrainian forces have recaptured some areas close to Kharkiv that had been occupied by Russia 👏. Meanwhile , the port city of Odesa was hit by several missiles 😱.
US intelligence has warned that Russia is preparing for a prolonged war.
Over in crypto land, another red day as bitcoin fell to 30k😵. The bears 🐻 looking strong but keep hodling 💯 as we figure out where the bottom lies.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then walked around the park 🌲 before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤, dreaming off until sometime early evening when I got up and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Afghanistan, the women have defied the Taliban's decree to cover their entire faces in public. They demonstrated and aired their views, let's see what happens next. Elsewhere in Sri Lanka, a tense situation as a shoot to kill order was issued alongside the state of emergency and curfew 😱.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. A nice long extended walk enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
