Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The weekend is slowly fading away and I have had a great day. Hopefully yours has been wonderful, before bed 💤 time let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. Please keep reading 👓 and enjoy.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off early with the fast paced morning session. Brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning with a cool breeze..
Next I was back indoors, where I rested a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Campaigning in high gear as we head towards the general elections later in the year.
Globally, attention shifted from Ukraine to France where they were having presidential election. Macron and Le Pen neck to neck with Macron slightly ahead. There will be another run off election in two weeks to determine a winner. More than a quarter of eligible voters did not bother voting😹. In Ukraine, thousands of Ukrainians trying to leave eastern Ukraine ahead of an expected Russian offensive 😬.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin is subtly up to 43k from yesterday's 42k. Seems like it's turning around. I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day including laundry.
Watching some of the videos from the just concluded bitcoin Miami conference has me feeling very bullish 🐂 about bitcoin and crypto in general.
Later in very afternoon, I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then headed back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤, dreaming off until sometime early evening when I got up and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Another trending story was today's referendum in Mexico, voters voting on whether the president should go or continue until his 6 year term ends😵. Elsewhere in Sri Lanka, the protests kept going, pressuring the president to resign due to increased costs of living and power cuts. This weekend has also seen some exciting soccer ⚽ matches in the major leagues.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. It was amazing, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
