I did a couple of nine-basket rounds of disc golf for practice today. I was thinking about limiting it to one round but I was feeling good. I was using five discs and learning to throw the two new discs I purchased recently and three putters.
One of the putters was the Glitch and I am starting to learn how to throw that putter better. If anything is wrong with the way you throw that disc will let you know about it. I think that practicing with it is helping me get better at throwing a variety of other discs.
The other two discs are so new that they have a bit of a grip issue when they are wet. (Any disc is harder to control when wet though.) I didn't bring a towel so I was having an issue with throwing them well. It didn't concern me much because I was mostly out there taking a lot of extra practice putts.
It helps to make a lot of extra putts and approach throws if that is a weaker part of your game.
Here are a couple of pictures taken yesterday. This view is looking out at the gold course from the blue course:
Here's a view of the gold course hole eighteen's fairway:
A large tree fell in one of the recent storms and they have been doing some course maintenance to clear it out.
