We played in a rainy, rainy, windy, disc golf league tournament this morning. I managed to take a triple bogey on hole one, lol. One of my cardmates took 10 throws on the hole. I did get a bit better from there, but we were having some issues with the conditions.
It is very difficult to get a good grip on the discs when it is raining so much. I thought about keeping my friction gloves on but decided to try throwing without them. I think I might have had better results with the gloves on, but it is hard to deal with the wet conditions either way.
I managed to take first place in my division so other people were having a rough time as well. All in all, it was great to be out playing, and I had a wonderful time getting cold and wet, lol.
I still can't find my umbrella, so I might need to purchase another one. It might be nice to have a big full-size umbrella specifically made for disc golf and a rain cover for my disc golf cart. When it is blowing really hard, like today, an umbrella is not that useful, though.
