My friend and I played out at the Kayak disc golf course this morning. It is a difficult eighteen-basket course that I have been recently playing in the tournaments. I ended up with a win with a +3 score to his +12 score.
A bunny sighting on hole twelve of the disc golf course:
Usually, I can par hole twelve but today after my first throw that landed in the center of the fairway I decided to try to reach the basket for a birdie. I threw my Loft Bohrium disc downhill on a slight hyzer forehand line. I expected it to hold the hyzer angle and gracefully fade out next to the basket.
What ended up happening is that it turned up and went dead straight for a really long time and never got a chance to fade because it landed on the out-of-bounds sidewalk. As near as I can figure, it picked up some speed on the downhill and just never acted like the usual overstable fourteen-speed disc.
This is twice that this disc has flown over the out-of-bounds line for me in this round. When I throw it right the disc really goes far but it is more difficult to control. It did end up helping me get an easy birdie because of the distance it went, so I know once I learn it better it is going to be a nice one to have in the bag.
