I had to test out my new disc golf discs today so I played around on the local nine-basket course. I played three rounds with around even to slightly under par results. I used five of my newest discs and was happy with all of them.
I was very impressed with the Loft Bohrium disc that I got yesterday. The plastic feel is wonderful even with a bit of water. It is a 14-speed, 6-glide, -1 turn, and 3 fade disc. From some of the reviews that I saw online, I was expecting the disc to be very overstable at my arm speed. As it turns out the disc is a bit understable and I can get some very workable distance out of it.
It is a very comfortable disc to throw both forehand and backhand for me and it glides very nicely. From what I have experienced so far it probably won't be a disc I use in a strong headwind. I'm excited to throw it some more because this disc goes a long way.
The graphics have already started to wear off the top in one day of use. If I could make a suggestion it would be to improve the durability of the color stamp. (The disc already looks like it's been soaking in the river for a month.)
I might have to buy a backup for this disc if I can find another one in 168/169 grams. (Thinking about the river, lol.)
The snails were up in the trees today:
I kind of like the black and white snail background. (I don't think snails see particularly well and it seems fitting.)
Here's the original color version:
