My back was a bit sore this evening but it feels alright tonight. I was busy doing some lifting and packing to help my son move out. We rented a U-Haul truck to get most of his belonging moved.
I remember the days when everything I owned fit in the trunk of an Oldsmobile Dynamic 88. With a rocket 427 cubic inch V-8 every time you stomped on the gas with a full tank you would leave a trail of hydrocarbons behind you. (Gas poured out from the gas tank.) Those were the days. I would complain about the gas price but I could sort of pay for driving around while washing dishes for minimum wage at a
Chinese restaurant.
Helping move my son reminded me a lot of those days.
His new place seems very nice and convenient for both going to work and classes. It seems like his roommate is very nice too. I have not met all of them but I'm sure I will at some point.
