I did a lot of yard work today. It stopped raining in the afternoon and the sun came out and dried thing out a bit. I managed to finish mowing the backyard but I drained both batteries again using 6 amps of power. Everything was so overgrown that it was very tough to mow.
I did a lot of cleaning and organizing. New to me stuff is coming soon and I need to get ready to replace some of the older particle board furnature. I'm not sure who will take the stuff so I need to call around to see what to do with it.
My son and I played our favorite eighteen hole disc golf course together this morning. It was raining and blowing just a bit. We both ended up in a tie score at +2 each. For the conditions I thought this was a pretty good score. I thought for sure that my son was going to win because he had three birdies and I only managed to get one. He ended up taking a triple bogey on one hole though and that brought his score down a lot.
The African violet flower was doing nicely:
I had recently transplanted it before I left. It looks a lot greener and healther but maybe the neighbor gave it some fertilizer. I will have to ask.
Some other plants did not fair so well.
