Monument reflections entry: July 16 2022

I went out for a walk early in the morning as always but it was later than I usually go. I checked out a government agency that I wanted to make an appointment with and turned out it had to be done online so I then headed to the park after that.

I first checked the chess tables at Igorot Garden then took photos of the Cordillera Freedom Monument. Because of the rain that we have almost daily, water have pooled in some place and it was an opportune time for reflections.

I like how the little stones on the pavement creates a star-like effect on the reflection.

Here is a liitle bit more about the monument.

It is very timely for this month is Cordillera month. This is to remind us of the bravery of our ancestors who fought against our oppressors.

For more information about this contest, head on to this post.

I then visited our home and brought my niblings and sister to Sam's Agritourism Park.
