Commute to the City.
I had a two-hour commute to visit my old dentist for final adjustments. This is the side of the city that I didn't miss much; the struggle of commuting and the traffic jams.
I first rode a tricycle from our house to the City Terminal (PITX), then changed to a bus to get to EDSA, and later switched to a jeep and tricycle once again.
There is a lot of walking and standing in line between changing transport modes. And let's not forget the never-ending stair climbing.
If there are any positive changes, they made bus rides along EDSA free for all commuters who used the EDSA Carousel. But I don't recommend it during peak hours when the line is an hour long since everyone is after a free ride.
I decided to take an alternative route to see if I could get home faster than I had to. I tried taking the train this time.
It didn't make much of a difference; the travel time was only cut by a few minutes.
