High quality content … is it really necessary?

in blurt •  2 years ago

To me, if what you post comes from you, ie. it's not plagiarized, it doesn't matter if it's a short post or a novel. I'll vote according to my own criteria for quality.

I also agree with those who say that engagement is one of the most important parts. If what you post gets people to want to engage, it's "quality" content just for that alone.

You don't need to write a novel or post dozens of images. One image with a short description can be of more quality than a long post full of nonsense.

Sometimes I will give someone a higher vote because of their contributions to the platform. So, in that case, I would give them a higher vote than a similar post from someone else. To me it's more about what value you bring to the platform.

I think each person should use their own criteria for determining what they think is quality and how much they want to vote for different types of posts.

Anyway, that's just my two cents.
