Good day my fellow steemians. I'm happy to write here for the first time.

Many of us have these relationships without even realizing it. Maybe you've known them for a long time or they're new to your life.

They could be someone you met at school or work, or they could be someone you bond with over a favorite sport or television show.
These connections emerge from all aspects of our lives.

WHO IS A FRIEND

A friend is someone with whom you have a close relationship. You and your friends share some beliefs and values. Friends can be in person or online, a friend next door or a friend 1,000 miles away.

Some friends are casual; you may converse with them on occasion. You're closer to your other friends. It's as if no time has passed once you start talking. This friendship simply feels safe.
Then there's the social media definition of a friend, in which the two of you have social media accounts linked together but don't talk much. You should not automatically consider social media 'friends' to be real-life friends.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOOD FRIEND

Here are some signs that you have a true friend and a good, healthy friendship:

You Can Always Rely on a Friend: A good friend is someone with whom you can be vulnerable and open. This is due to the fact that friends have faith in one another.

Friends Pay Attention
A good friend is someone with whom you enjoy spending time.

Friends Are Compassionate: When something bad happens to a friend, it makes you feel bad as well. Friends understand each other.

I met them in Federal University Otuoke, Bayelsa State. Having them as friends is the best thing that could happen to anyone. I don’t need to pretend to be what I'm not if I’m with them.

They are not only my course mates but also my family in Federal University Otuoke. They have always been there for me through thick and thin.
