My mental health

In physical sickness, we could do everything possible, like maintaining good hygiene, exercising, and dieting, but somehow, it still comes once in a while, which indicates that body sickness is completely inevitable. That's how mental health glitches are. We can go on maintaining all the guides to achieve a trouble-free mind, but it still comes, as long as life & problems are very much in existence. But it all boil down to how effective we are in maintaining and managing our mental health.

Sometimes, it's not all about the brain imbalance due to lack of money or depression from relationship life; it goes far beyond that. The richest man on earth today is likely to be battling with difficulties that are taunting his mental health, which are far beyond what money can provide.

As for me, I've been trying to stay away from things that will glitch my mental health and put me into long hours of mental stress, but surely, these shakes slide in once in a while.

How I maintains my mental health

  • I love to laugh!

For the few persons who know me here, you'll attest that I'm someone who just likes it when the scene is not so serious. Even on a very serious issue, I still try my best to make the seriousness look unserious.

One of the ways my mental health gains a quick balance is through laughter, jokes, and humour. These things do a quick reset on my brain and chase away any stress.
Aside from the fact that the Bible says that "a merry heart does good like medicine", have you tried imagining how your system reacts when you smile? Do that today and see.

Because I love to laugh and get cracked up, I always find it difficult to be in the midst of 'serious' people. I don't see any reason to kill myself out of over-seriousness.

Like I always tell people, if by any chance I'm being served heartbreak in a relationship, I have a place to write such articles, and I trust the kind of people I have there. We'll enjoy the details, banter, and laugh over it.

  • Independent

We've seen situations whereby a lot of people launched into the deep sea of depression due to how someone on whom they depended on, disappointed them. Gosh!
I don't know if it's pride working in my life; I don't depend on anyone for anything. I once walked through this path in my school days, and it almost made me maaaad because my heart is damn soft. How can someone I call a friend disappoint me with what I know he has? This is the questions that stayed on my mind for a long time when a friend I asked for N20,000, refused, and instead went to give it to a girl.

As my life stands now, I'm solely dependent on God, and He can't disappoint.

  • Football addiction

Yes! I'm into football but not as much as many people are.

I know a lot of people who almost ran mad, always soliloquizing in hurtful speech via the previous Arsenal game against Nottingham Forest.
I know a lot of people who have not been thinking right since Chelsea started doing what they like to do.

Me? Naaa! I can't find myself on this spot.

You can't see me putting my heart in a dead zone because of these matches. I always watch matches for fun, and that's one of the main reasons I choose to support an uncommon club. If they lose, no wahala, I won't see people talking much about it.

The only major football team that drags my adrenaline a little is the Nigerian team (Super Eagles, Super Falcons, Flying Eagles, Falcons, etc.). And you know what? They like to lose, and I'm used to it.🤣

  • Ghost like a ghost⚡

I'm not a relationship expert, but I love to ghost whenever I notice symptoms that are after my peace. I'll just a ghost!

This is where a lot of people are suffering from mental health issues, and it's escalating every day.

Do you know why I love reading breakfast stories? It all seems like a comedy to me, so I laugh at the 'mumuness' of the victim.

See the way I'm saying it as if I haven't suffered from heartbreak😎.
