A Whale Fin plant grows out of shoots from a parent plant. This little on grew out of a plant that I had for over three years and now I have added each of these into individual pots so that I will have a lot of them.
Why do they call it Whale Fin? Because it looks like a Whale's fin and the texture is kind of feels like you are touching a fish.
