On a dark cloudy gloomy night, some blossoms appeared in the dark under the full moon. Good morning, Blurt! It is the time when my dragon fruit plant started to show off its beauty. One. Two. Three blooms waving at me. I rushed back in the house, grabbed my phone and took photographs of these stunning divine creations.
Cinderella. Moon Flower. Queen Of The Night.
This flower only blooms at night for a very short time. It has a very sweet scent that lingers around in the air. The plant itself is similar to a cactus and can grow like a vine with long stem-like leaves. This is perfect as an ornamental plant especially when all the flowers bloom at once. It resembles to fairytale flowers and the beauty doesn't last that long and can only seen in full for eight hours maximum. When the sun is about to take over, that's the time it withers.
A lesson from this magnificent flower is that good things don't last. Don't take things for granted.
