Harvesting sineguelas, also known as Spanish plum is an enjoyable and rewarding process. This fruit, native to the Philippines, grows on small to medium-sized trees that bear clusters of vibrant red or orange fruits. When it's time to harvest Sineguelas, one should look for ripe fruits that are slightly soft to the touch and have a rich color. The act of harvesting Sineguelas not only provides a bountiful harvest but also allows one to connect with nature and savor the flavors of this delightful tropical fruit.

I have not only harvested sineguelas but also other types of vegetables such as horseradish and kangkong or water spinach which we made as a dish for our dinner. I was so excited to bring it home.
