Frank was a very young and viberant youth who nurtured the dream of becoming great in life. After his University education he went into selling motor parts in Aforajala market. He put so much effort that in the space of 5 years he has gotten so much investment, built a very big mansion and bought so many plots of land.
Then He decided to get married. Meanwhile Frank and Oge has been friends since University days, the do chat and speak of phones sometimes. Frank decided to take the friendship to another level. He asked Oge out and along the line he proposed to her, she agreed and after about 3 months they got married.
Their wedding became the talk of the town because many business men came for the wedding and designed the whole place with money.
A year after they got married Frank's business was booming and Oge was doing well in her working, everything was going just fine.
Two years later, they were expecting a baby to come forth but there was no pregnancy to show. This got Frank worried but he decided to keep calm saying it's just two years of marriage that children will come.Fast forward to the fourth year no sign of pregnancy, he couldn't bear it any longer he took his wife to the hospital to find out what the issue was but to his surprise the doctor told them that they were just fine and that they should keep trying that children will come.
Frank did not believe what the doctor told him, so he decided to go to another hospital to confirm. He took his wife to three more hospitals and the were told he same thing. Frank became confused and fade up. But his wife encouraged him to have faith and trust in God that He is the only one that can help.
Oge took it upon herself to seek God for help, she went to churches, fasted, prayed and believed God for a miracle.
Frank who being the only child of his parents drank anything he heard that can help him get his wife pregnant but his wife kept telling him to be patient with God that God would visit them soon
After 10 years of trying he was fade up and depressed. He began to consider suicide that he cannot be alive and people will ridicule him that he cannot have a child. Not even his wife knew what he was thinking more his friends.
So on that Faithul Saturday afternoon, Oge had told her husband that she is going to get some food stuff, meanwhile Frank has bought a rope which he would use and kill himself. So, as his wife left he saw it as an opportunity to carry out his plan. He went and tied the rope on the apple tree in his compound and hung himself.
Oge after buying food stuffs decided to go to the hospital and run a pregnancy test. When the result was out it came out positive her joy knew no bounds immediately she left the hospital to disclose the news to her husband but to her surprise she found her husband dead and the body dangling on the tree. She couldn't believe her eyes, she screamed on the top of her voice which attracted the neighbors, no body could console her, she cried until she had no strength to cry.
Two months later Frank was laid to rest, after the burial Oge went to stay with her parents to enable take care of her and the babies cause she was carry twins. Seven months later Oge was delivered of two boys. When she saw her babies she began to cry because the husband was no more to see his own children and carry them. She said how I wish my husband was a little patient he could have seen this day but his gone forever.
This story tell us to be patient in every situation we find ourselves, a day must come when all the sorrows will be no more and we'll have reasons to rejoice.
