Nwaku

It rained in Calabar Yesterday, Calabar rain is always heavy but this one wasn't. Where I worship (Unical Chapel of redemption),we are having two weeks program morning and night. So after the rain I and my brother was going for the program, on our way we began to see some insects flying most especially around light areas.
Then when we got to the church these insects were everywhere because of the lights in the church. At a point ushers were sweeping them out of the church. It came to a point that I figured what they are and they are edible.
In my language it is called nwaku, I remember vividly while in the village we used to hunt them during raining season it used to be very interesting, everyone will carry 🧹 broom and basin to do the hunting. But it has been years that I haven't seen them.
So I was so excited to see them again I and brother packed as many as we can because it's very nutritious
