Echoes of Freedom:Chapter 2 The Invitation

in fiction •  last month

Since I cant get posts scheduled correctly on BeBlurt, cant get the wordpress plugin to connect on my wordpress install and there is no place on the web2support to log in with a Blurt account to set it up, I'm going to go through and rapidly post all the posts I had planned on doing hourly this evening. So, Blurtians you are getting them before my personal blog. I will post about the follies I am having with Blurt in it's own separate post.

Maya's eyes were fixed on The Architect as he spoke, her mind racing with questions. "What do you mean, 'skills that could be useful to you'?" she asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

The Architect smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I've been watching you, Maya. I know about your hacking skills, your online exploits. I believe you have a unique talent for getting in and out of tight spots. And I have a plan that could change the game."

Maya's instincts were screaming at her to be cautious, but her curiosity got the better of her. "What kind of plan?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

The Architect leaned in, his voice taking on a conspiratorial tone. "I'm part of a group that believes the internet should be a tool for everyone, not just the privileged few. We want to create a decentralized network, one that's free from corporate and government control. And we need people like you to help us make it happen."

Maya's eyes widened as she felt a shiver run down her spine. This was a bold idea, one that resonated with her own desire for freedom and autonomy. "That sounds like a utopia," she said, her voice full of wonder.

The Architect nodded. "It is. And we're calling it The Safe House. It's a virtual reality forum, a place where people can come together to discuss, collaborate, and build a new way of living. But it's not just a community – it's a movement."

Maya's mind was racing with questions, but before she could ask any of them, The Architect stood up, his movements swift and efficient. He handed her a business card, his eyes locked onto hers.

On the card was a small, intricate code, etched into the corner of the card. It looked like a mix of letters and numbers, but Maya couldn't quite decipher its meaning. The Architect smiled, his eyes glinting with a challenge. "If you can figure out this code, I'll meet you at The Safe House on March 15th, at 3 AM. But be warned, Maya – we're not just looking for tech-savvy individuals. We're looking for people who are willing to take a risk, to challenge the status quo. Are you up for it?"

Maya's heart was pounding in her chest as she looked at the code. She felt a thrill of excitement mixed with fear. What was she getting herself into? But something about The Architect's words resonated with her, something that made her want to take the leap.

She took the card, her fingers tracing the code as if searching for a hidden message. The Architect smiled, his eyes never leaving hers. "Good luck, Maya. You're going to need it."

And with that, he turned and walked out of the bakery, leaving Maya to ponder the code and the mysterious world that lay ahead.

Snippet stories are great. If it's called that. I can imagine them on a page on a newspaper. A decentralized one if it all possible.

there is no need to login to web2.support, you just need to leave some data https://web2.support/add-your-rss-feed/
w2s will publish links to your website, like here https://blurt.intinte.org/trending/blurt-105192

cant get the wordpress plugin to connect on my wordpress install

@khrom may help you

there is no need to login to web2.support, you just need to leave some data https://web2.support/add-your-rss-feed/

How does that work if there is no place to put in the private posting key? How is that automated for future posts or do you have to go do it for each time?
Does it publish the post to my Blurt account or does it publish it to that community on the w2s account and just tag my account to give me credit for it? If thats the case thats a no go for me. I need to look at it more to understand it.

I left him a comment on his post about the plugin. Thats where it looks like he said he wanted issues at.
@khrom if you want you miss the comment on that post feel free to contact me at [email protected]
I really want to use that plugin.
If you have a github or gitlab for the plugin I will go there too. Whatever is easiest for you.

How does that work if there is no place to put in the private posting key?

I don't want to know and store someone else's keys

all post are published by @web2.support account , rss feed owner receives rewards through beneficiary system

application checks three times a day the last post in the rss feed, if it does not detect changes it adds a comment under the last published post

Does it publish the post to my Blurt account or does it publish it to that community

no, @web2.support will publish to your community, you have to create own community

your rss feed is here https://libertybytes.online/feed/

Ok. Thank you. That all makes sense now.
It's essentially a rss feed reader that auto posts to a community that I most likely have to pay to create one for which there is no audience yet.

If I burn 50% to null I will get more upvotes on a post that isnt on my account. Im assuming the rewards get forwared to me at the end of 7 days. There is no mention of that on the sign up site.

Plus give up 10% of the rewards of the post in order to guarantee that all links get published to my own community with no audience or is it on the web2support account?

And put a link on my site to verify it all.

For my use case this is too many hoops to jump through for not having an established audience at this time.
The wordpress plugin will work better since it will publish directly to my account which contains my branding and my content.
If I build an audience on Blurt and I still cant get the wordpress plugin to working then I will consider the web2support route. but for now it seems it will not benefit my workflow.

Thank you for answering my questions!
