We were watching the dress rehearsal of our beloved town the Panagbagat sa Poro contingent in their ritual and street dancing performance for the Pasigarbo sa Sugbo.
Pasigarbo sa Sugbo is a vibrant and colorful cultural festival held in Cebu, Philippines. It is a celebration that showcases the rich heritage, traditions, and talents of the Cebuano people. During the festival, the streets come alive with extravagant parades, traditional dances, and intricate costumes that pay homage to the province's history and diverse culture. From street performances to culinary showcases featuring local delicacies, Pasigarbo sa Sugbo provides a platform for the people of Cebu to come together and proudly share their unique identity with both locals and visitors. This annual event not only highlights the beauty of Cebu's traditions but also fosters a sense of unity and pride among its residents.
We made sure to watch their dress rehearsal because we cannot watch their actual performance that will be hold in Carcar the southern part of Cebu.
Our town represents the unity of farmers and fishermen and their great trust and prayer in the Almighty.
It was a very nice performance indeed! We're very proud to all the participants and to the choreographer and staffs.
