This is a topic that is repeated over and over again and in my opinion only because the communists currently in power disguised as neo-liberals, right wingers and democrats simply want to question once again that white is white and black is black just to make people believe that white is black. And push us their censorship "for our good"
The entire human history, ancient and modern, proves unequivocally that freedom of speech is a superior and key value, and with all the negative aspects of freedom of speech where it is possible to actually violate someone's rights or abuse, much worse crimes and much more monstrous things have always happened under the veil of propaganda and blocking of free speech.
No need to look far, all Nazism was based on propaganda and blocking expression, all communism, the entire Middle Ages and all the monstrosities of the church, fanaticism are all the fruits of censorship and blocking freedom of speech. Millions of victims.
And what are they trying to tell us now? That censorship has its good sides because it allows you to avoid "misleading people with fake news, which can supposedly lead someone to danger" or offending someone's "religious feelings, worldview" etc. oh so "very scary"
The truth is that these are sporadic cases.
