Nature Photography "Tiny Dahlberg Daisy Flowers"

in epistem •  2 years ago

These tiny flowers are known as Dahlberg Daisy or Thymophylla. The are the best plant if you don't wanna spend too much time to take care. The fill the whole space with their tiny little yellow blooms. They have trailing habits and perfect for hanging pots, borders or ground cover. They are very heat and drought tolerant. They require a lot sun to bloom but can survive in shade but blooms will be less.

Its seeds are very small and one flower produces hundreds of them. They get dispersed very easily and grows on negligence. In my garden they are in almost every pot. In my petunia pots these are creating a great contrast with them.

The most loving thing about these flowers is their citrusy lemon smell when you just rub your hand on their leaves or flowers. Crushing the leaves is very satisfying as it leaves the aroma. The flowers are long lasting as stays fresh for many days.

The just planted one plants two years back and they reseed every year and grow by their own. I am really happy to have such plants. Their height don't get more than 8 inches so with any tall plant you can plant these around them.

Here I am sharing some of the beautiful pictures of these flowers grown in my different plants.
