This is the monsoon season here in North India and my terrace garden is all filled with colorful blooms all around. A pinch of color among the lush green foliage give freshness and cooling effect to the eyes.
Plants love the rainwater a lot and always seem to be at their best during this time.
This big raised bed is at my rooftop and I have planted variety of plants in it. Some fruits like guava,lemon and some flowers like sunflowers, roses, rudbeckia all help each other to grow and create a look like they have been planted in ground bed.
Sunflowers are heavily blooming this time and bees really enjoy them. Bright yellow colors of the petals and black center is a perfect choice making the space more vibrant and enjoyable. The best part about sunflowers is their longevity of flowers.
These were some more beautiful blooms of portulaca, roses,rain lilies and many other plants to enjoy in my garden. As new flowers bloom in the garden, I will be sharing them with you here.
