Any winter garden is incomplete without these petunia flowers. They are so easy to grow and care for. Many hybrids are developed like hulahoop, star petunia, wave petunia and others. These are perfect for containers as well as hanging baskets. As this is end of their season in my area, and again in winters we will be planting them again. I have saved its seeds for the next season.
This is my hulahoop petunia and it also does quite well in summers when temperature is moderate.
This single color variety of petunia is the strongest one and it is blooming as it was blooming during winters. I am able to save it til now and hope it will survive few more days.
The hibiscus blooms love summers and humidity. This multicolored hibiscus is now in full bloom and daily we get 10-15 flowers on the same plant. I have also grafted white color hibiscus on it and both colors are blooming on it very nicely. In the second pic I have tried to capture its pollens with macro mode.
In the last picture , this is my basket of wandering jew plant and it has covered the whole basket very beautifully. Very few plants have these stripes on their leaves and purple color. In one basket, I have grown multiple cuttings of it and all are enjoying each others company.
These were few shots I considered sharing with you. Many more summer blooms are waiting at my terrace and I will be sharing them very soon in my future posts.
