Americans are buying less gasoline

A week ago I wrote about how Americans were still working from home:

Not surprisingly, this is affecting the amount of gasoline consumed. Look at this chart:

The longer this goes on, the more firmly this behaviour gets entrenched, so that reduced gasoline consumption becomes permanent.

At some point oil traders will notice and the oil price will come down further.
