Welcome to my blog, happy Sunday to you all in Jesus name, today lesson is about over coming temptation as a Christian or what make an individual a Christian is when he/she has the strength to over come any temptation that comes their way.

Before I proceed I will like the brief us about the term TEMPTATION: it's the desire to do what is bad or wrong, what I mean by that, it means have the feeling of doing something that is against the will of God at that particular time, so when it's against the will of God it has become a bad/wrong thing, because anything that is against the will of God is also against the will of his son(Jesus Christ), against his angels, against the holy spirit and against man for who soever sinnet against man has also sinned against God.

As a Christian we all should be expecting temptation any time any where coz it must surely come even in the book of (Mathew 4:3-11) our lord and saviour (Jesus Christ) was also tempted so being tempted is not a crime or sin, but when you fall into it. That is when you become a sinner because you where on able to over come it.

Now how to over come temptations
Over coming temptations, canaly is not an easy task but when the ominimini is involved everything becomes possible for there is nothing Bennett earth and on heaven that is not possible with God.
Below are ways in which christains can over come temptations.

WAYS OF OVER COMING TEMPTATIONS

• Being prayerful: when a Christian is prayerful it helps the holy spirit or conscience not to leave the person even for a second.

• Resist from sinful thoughts: some christains are full of negative thoughts and resisting from it will help a lot in terms of over coming temptations.

• Associate yourself with people of value: this is a very important role, christains should stop associating their selves with unbelievers because such persons are only living a life of sin without minding the misteries that will fall on them, some don't even know it mean by being tempted rather there take everything as pleasure to their flesh.

• Abide to God's words: in other for you to over come temptations you need to abide to his words, study the words carefully and pray for understanding not confusion because the tempter can come to twist the word for you just to get you confused in other to make you fall so you need to study and understand God's word very well.
