Welcome to my blog today I want to bring back your memories to the old fashioned way of saying money especially to the Nigerians for them to know what their furfathers where using to save all their money.

Before the existence of these thing called financial institutions (banks) came into functioning there have been methods used by our fourfathers/mothers in saving their money. I know some persons don't even know about this old methods of saving because there refused to ask questions when there where little and for such categories please find that as opportunity to know these because it's very useful especially to my fellow Nigerians.

• Bottle savings:
  In the olding days where there was nothing like banks the old people looked around and thought of something in which they can use in saving their little tokens which the where having at that time due to their hard work. So the generated a method called bottle savings.

• Pit savings:
  Some people will be surprised why pit saving is one of the old methods of saving before the existence of bottle whines/drugs or anything that come with a bottle the old people where using Calabash as plates, spoon, cup, bottles and lot more
  So the couldn't find anything means of savings their wages rather than digging a pit in other to enable them saying their money and that is when pit saving was introduced and it the first method of saying money.

• Saving box:
  Yes saving box is one of the old methods of saving money even doe many people still use it, it's one of the oldest method of saving and it became the best because pit saving became useless when the insects of the earth where busy consuming the wages of men and bottle savings became an everyman's occupation and was also the weakest because when the bottle mistakenly hits the floor with force it scatters into different pieces. So it was a kind of a big waste of time at that process when people where tired of bottles and pits savings, saving box was invented and it became the most strongest method of saving before technology brought the existence of financial institutions (banks).

Less I forget some people are using money there call it currency but yet there don't know the meaning so am using the medium to make it clear to you about the term money.
MONEY is the current medium of exchange in form of coins and bank notes.
