So, the one I was working on was the power-up 100% issue that I shared yesterday.

Fix for Power up 100 issue

Actually, there was a code in blurtjs library, which was updated on git but not deployed on npm, so, the npm had a version of the library older than the latest one.
So, I took the code and deployed it to my NPM repo as I thought it was the quickest thing to do, over waiting for Jakob and others with the repo access. (@saboin also was missing access at the time)

So, still after adding this issue, there was one error. When we were doing without beneficiaries, it was working fine but not another way.

We identified the issue to be because of how we were putting the data. So, at the time of writing the previous #devlog 5, I have not figured this out. But after 5-10 mins, I and @saboin discussed and tried something, it worked, and the issue got fixed.
So, now we have the option to

• power up 25% blurt/75% power (default)
• power up 100% power
• decline payout

Sorting issue

So, by default, we have comments sorted by trending, which we can change for each post but not all posts globally.

So, I worked on it and added a new property for default sort order to set in the settings like we do for other user preferences.
So, we can now change the default sort for a user in preferences.

Also, by default now, new comments will show up at the top, and old comments will be at last if you have not set the preference.

@saboin has taken off for some time from his main work and decided to work on blurt, so he fixed a lot of issues yesterday.

Side panel links are updated now

He closed some old issues and MRs and he is still working on some main fixes.

He was busy fixing bugs, so has not posted, he may post soon. Until then this post will provide the information.

Known issues

Because of updated voting power functionality, #whalevault may not work for you as it is still using old code, which breaks API call and thus you may get an error like below.

similar to like voting object missing

So, until the team updates the dependency, you can do two things.

1. Login directly using your posting key without #whalevault app

2. Set power up to default, which will for now remove additional parameters causing the issue. Only con is you can't power up 100%

So, these are two solutions you can apply until #whalevault is updated.

These were the updates for now. Also, I will be pausing my work for some time, at least for this week, and complete my sleep. I am missing a lot Lol.
