Es gibt Dinge, die für uns in Deutschland selbstverständlich sind. Dazu gehört sicherlich, daß jeder ein Bett hat.
In Uganda ist das oft anders. Oft schlafen mehrere Personen in einem Bett, oder auf dem Boden.
Betten/Matratzen, die schon die Großeltern benutzt haben, werden benutzt.
Kaputte Matratzen /Betten werden irgendwie geflickt......besser als garnichts zu haben....
Wir sind froh, daß wir mal wieder einer Familie helfen konnten, diesen Zustand zu beenden.
Neue Betten, neue Matratzen, neue Decken und strahlende Gesichter!
There are things that we in Germany take for granted. One of them is certainly that everyone has a bed.
In Uganda this is often different. Often several people sleep in one bed, or on the floor.
Beds/mattresses that have already been used by the grandparents are used.
Broken mattresses/beds are somehow mended......better than having nothing at all....
We are glad that once again we could help a family to end this condition.

Yes, I was on vacation.
And then that usually means for me that I'm offline, so vacation from everything.
But in the meantime we were working in Uganda with the money that we sent over before our vacation...
