Update Uganda

Envy...a vexed subject. Periodically I get messages from people who claim that certain expenses were not made and that our Bosco is enriching itself.
Some of these people I know personally, some of them are even teachers.
Some of them had the opportunity to work with us in 2020 when we needed people to distribute food during the lockdown period.
Since we always had everything checked, it quickly became apparent who we could trust and who we couldn't.
In hindsight, of course, the selfish and rip-off people were annoyed that we didn't work with them.
They had to watch others who were more selfless and honest benefit.
What is unbearable for some, of course, is the fact that Bosco is doing well,
that we even managed to build him and his family a house.

For Bosco, this is a problem. He has even mentioned once that he is sometimes afraid of violence.Very sad and frustrating, also for us, because of course we don't want him to have problems just because he works with us.

Our project is very well structured.
We discussed our project with Sunking years ago and we get the solar plants at wholesale price, but we always have to buy a larger quantity for that.
We pay the plants from Germany directly to the company in Kampala.
The company then delivers them to Kabale, where Bosco collects them from the store and then distributes them to the families. Bosco of course gets money for the transport and installation and of course for his work.
A solar system (incl. transport, installation, wages) costs 100,-€.

We also have partial contact with the directors of the schools.

As you know since years, we document everything we do in Uganda.
Our goal is to take you all with us and give you a little insight into the living conditions of the people there.

As promised, we have now paid the last part of the school fees this year for the 6 children we already paid for last time.
We discussed with Bosco how we can become even better in the documentation.
Therefore, he took pictures of the people who issued the receipts for the school fees. In the hope that maybe the hostility will eventually stop....

Had similar people when I lived in a village in the jungle. Mean spirit, greedy, accusative - nasty vermin. I eventually left when they killed my animals.

hence, education is a great intangible that nobody will be able to steal from those students. Well done!

I love honest and transparent people and I am glad you found one in Bosco, mama. Thank you for putting smiles on their faces. God will continually bless you. Thank you for all that you do. Your kind is rare...I won't stop saying that.

When there is money there will always be envy. Sorry to hear those words in projects and beneficiaries, but everything comes to light, you must go ahead with your great project.

Here in Venezuela we are going through a strong economic situation, just to tell you that an egg carton in just one day went from $3 to $5, this unbridled lack of control I don't know where it will end up... I always bless people good at heart The help they give me in Blurt. I know my daughter won't go hungry that way...

Christmas star greetings.

I now find it unbearable what is happening in the world. This fucking dirty money and the power hunger and selfishness....
You know what? I am really tired....

You put a grin on my face every time (Christmas star...)

Big Hug

It is so good that Bosco is putting smile on the faces of some families. You saud people think Bosco is enriching itself, don't worry. Bosco should not care about what people say. Bosco should keep doing the good that it has always done.
