This is quickly answered, buying votes severely disturbs the sense of community. Thus, many plagiarisms and spam are supported, which we do not want to have at Blurt. How it ends then we have seen with Steem. It only benefits very large accounts and harms small accounts. The winner in the whole remains only the operator. It also harms the growth of the community. So many reasons to be against it.
