I may not be a fan of stats post like this but there is something to it that is worth knowing about. Actually, Im writing about it because I wanted to share this to any one who's reading my posts in any of the social blockchains as I think that it's something motivational.

In this leaderboard, the no. 1 spot is clearly dominated by a single account in many aspects. The others in the Top 20 have also done an incredible job as well. So, kudos!

The top curator is Onealfa.leo and on top of that he's also one of the biggest investor in Leo. How cool is that? Usually, an investor doesn't have the time and energy to achieve something incredible like this (that's subjected). Most of the time, they would simply delegate the stake to a project or follow a trail; again another subjective claim (don't bother asking for proof ;))

What's special about what he does? He made 5000 upvotes which was distributed to 663 accounts in a span of 1 month ~ all of it are done manually.

These upvotes are distributed to posts and comments and none of those are his own content. It went to different Leofinance users across many levels.

I myself also received some upvotes from him for my comments in someone else's post. And it's not even a new post, it's a 3 day old post. I'm not expecting anything to receive from that comment but still, I got one! Of course, there are ways to search for comments that are burried under a post with many comments but who else is actively scouting in this manner? Close to none.

Sure, it's a tall order but after learning that he earned about $2700+/month just by curating then it's totally worthy to put time & effort in doing so. Ultimately, he's also helping a lot in distributing newly minted Leo tokens across the community.

Just imagine if there are 5 or 10 or even 20 Alfas in your community...

Exactly, we need to develop those alfas here too :-)
Synchronistic...

Blurt has room for Alfas, currently it only takes $4000+ to be a whale... the more difficult thing to do is to be altruistic and dedicate time & energy for doing so. Still, it's very possible to have more Alfas here since Blurt is the more friendlier chain based on my experience :)

I just recall, Double-u is considered the Alfa of Blurt because he encourages engagement and he also rewards other users pretty decently.

The synchrony part was this new account: @blurtcuration. Hopefully help create the terrain where such energies are well-spent and fruitful.

I'm really glad to learn about this. I made a comment in that post, please have a look and let me know what are your thoughts about it.

Thanks!
