I believe this is a Pinus Caribbea or coastal pine as it is at about 50 meters from the sea. You can see the hundreds of very young pine cones this tree is producing. You could plant a lot of forest with this, each pine cone gives about 30 seeds, so you are talking about thousands of possible trees just from this one tree.

This is a Central American species I think. Where I live is the species called Oregon Pine because it was imported from that state in the USA.

It is very noble to grow in any terrain and has a very vivid green color, but because it contains a lot of resin its leaves and trunk spread forest fires very fast.

Yes, we have Caribbea and Ocarpa, Ocarpa grows in the higher areas.
