团聚的日子少了，每一次见面都弥足珍贵（There are fewer reunion days, and every meeting is precious.）

昨天我们一起回老家了，正好媳妇也有时间，她们厂里五一也不放假，还得坚持上班，虽然五一劳动节是劳动者的节日，但却有很多劳动者坚持在工作岗位上，他们是我们这个社会的最美劳动者。

回老家的时候还是像往常一样，先去孩子奶奶家，再去孩子姥姥家，回去一趟的话就两边都去看看，毕竟也都想念孩子们了。孩子们回去也是高兴，钢筋混凝土毕竟没有土地的亲切感，他们永远忘不了他们的小铲子，挖土玩就能带给他们无穷的乐趣。

不过这个五一还是显得不那么热闹，因为以前的时候，孩子的大姨和小姨一家也都会回去，现在疫情的原因孩子的大姨一家回不来，盼了好久回来结果还是希望落空了，毕竟现在安全第一。孩子的小姨夫因为厂里加班，也没办法过来，不过他们住在老家的镇上，还是挺近的，我就开车过去把孩子们接回来玩，孩子们到了一起真是开心极了，院子里就多了欢声笑语。

不得不说，疫情的原因真是让团聚的日子减少了，更加显得每一次的相聚的弥足珍贵，真的是应该珍惜当下，珍惜能够见面的日子。

Yesterday, we went back to our hometown together. It happened that our daughter-in-law also had time. Their factory didn't have a holiday on May Day, so they had to go to work. Although May Day is a holiday for workers, many workers persisted in their jobs. They are the most beautiful workers in our society.

When I go back to my hometown, as usual, I will go to my children's grandmother's home first, and then to my children's grandmother's home. If I go back, I will visit both sides. After all, I miss my children. Children are also happy to go back. After all, reinforced concrete has no intimacy with the land, and they will never forget their small shovels. Digging and playing can bring them endless fun.

However, this May Day is still not so lively, because in the past, the children's sister-in-law and aunt's family would also go back. Now, because of the epidemic, the children's sister-in-law family can't come back. After all, safety comes first. My little uncle couldn't come because he worked overtime in the factory, but they lived in their hometown town, which was quite close, so I drove over and picked up the children to play. The children were so happy when they got together that there was much laughter in the yard.

I have to say, the reason of the epidemic has really reduced the number of reunion days, which makes every reunion even more precious. We really should cherish the present and the days when we can meet.
