Yesterday we visited Simala Church in Sibonga, Cebu. I went there with my family and friends. It was actually my first time to visit the miraculous church.
It is a wide-ranging structure that is full of terraces and columns surrounding the area.
Simala Church is a miraculous church attributed for Mama Mary. There are several reasons why people like us come to visit the Simala Shrine. We as Catholic devotees, the main reason why we visit the place is for us to offer our devotion, prayers, and petitions to Mama Mary with a hope that each petition and devotion will be answered.
Proper dress code was really observed. No short shorts and mini skirts, no sleeveless, no dresses above the knee.
We had these colored candles, and each color has something to represent.
We were actually barefooted when we were inside the church, leaving our shoes and slippers outside.
We also offered flowers to Mama Mary.
I am really so happy and it was very fulfulling because one of my dream was actually happening.
Before going home, we took great pictures for it was indeed a memorable experience.
And not to forget to buy some souvenirs.
